Habakkuk 3:2a,3b (NLT): Lord I have heard of your fame. I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known. God came (is moving)… His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth. You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot.
God is always moving. His kingdom is always advancing. Nothing in heaven and earth can stop the forward movement and progression of God. We cannot stop what God is doing no matter what a man, woman or government does on the face of the earth. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God always trumps mankind’s petty kingdoms and idols of worship and His purposes move on to their ultimate end. God is wise and brilliant in His moves to perform His will and to conquer His enemies. No government, no law, no devil spirit, no earthly power, no philosophy and no person on earth can stop God’s will and purposes from being accomplished. God is the great “I am” and His power, glory and greatness are beyond human comprehension.
Tozer: God being who He is, cannot cease to be what He is, and being what He is, He cannot act out of character with Himself. He is at once faithful and immutable, so all His words and acts must be and remain faithful.
We live in a society that has lost the understanding of how great God is and have no idea of the majesty of His character. Because of this our society is bent on the elimination of God, the abolition of truth, the deification of man, the justification of sin and the elevation of death. We are living in a death-oriented culture because we have lost the picture of the true God who is life.
Job 42:2 (Gods Word Translation):
I know that you can do everything and your plans are unstoppable.
With whom, then, will you compare God?
To what image will you liken him?
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded? He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing. No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than He blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.
Deuteronomy 3:24 (NIV) “O Sovereign LORD, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?
Spurgeon: The highest science, the loftiest speculation, the mightiest philosophy, which can ever engage the attention of a child of God, is the name, the nature, the person, the work, the doings, and the existence of the great God whom he calls his Father.
Tozer: Left to ourselves we tend immediately to reduce God to manageable terms. We want to get Him where we can use Him, or at least know where He is when we need Him. We want a God we can in some measure control. We need the feeling of security that comes from knowing what God is like, and what He is like is of course a composite of all the religious pictures we have seen, all the best people we have known or heard about, and all the sublime ideas we have entertained. If all this sounds strange to modern ears, it is only because we have for a full half century taken God for granted. The glory of God has not been revealed to this generation of men. The God of contemporary Christianity is only slightly superior to the gods of Greece and Rome, if indeed He is not actually inferior to them in that He is weak and helpless while they at least had power.
Daniel 4:2,3, 34,35 (NLT):
I want you all to know about the miraculous signs and wonders the Most High God has performed for me.
How great are his signs, how powerful his wonders! His kingdom will last forever,
his rule through all generations. After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him, ‘What do you mean by doing these things?’
Psalm 145:1-6 (GNT):
I will proclaim your greatness, my God and king; I will thank you forever and ever. 2 Every day I will thank you; I will praise you forever and ever. 3 The Lord is great and is to be highly praised; his greatness is beyond understanding. 4 What you have done will be praised from one generation to the next; they will proclaim your mighty acts. 5 They will speak of your glory and majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds. 6 People will speak of your mighty deeds, and I will proclaim your greatness.
Proverbs 21:30,31: No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the Lord.
John Piper: People are starving for the greatness and grandeur of God. But the vast majority do not know it. Most do not discern that they were made to thrill at the panorama of God’s power and glory. But most of them would not give this diagnosis of their troubled lives. They seek to fill the void in other ways. The majesty of God is the unknown cure. There are far more popular prescriptions on the market, but the benefit of any other remedy is brief and shallow. This is the heart-pang of every human being. Only a few diagnose the longing behind every human desire-the longing to see God. If only people would articulate the silent cry of their hearts! Would they not say: “One thing I have asked of the Lord, that will I seek after…to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord (Psalm 27:4)?”
Have you ever considered how great God is? How glorious God is? How big God is? Why do we fear? Why do we doubt Him? Why do we not trust Him? Why do we let the world diminish our view of Him? We just don’t see the majesty of our God anymore. We have made God way to small and the Devil way to big.
Tozer: I think it might be demonstrated that almost every heresy that has afflicted the church through the years has arisen from believing about God things that are not true, or from overemphasizing certain true things so as to obscure other things equally true. To magnify any attribute to the exclusion of another is to head straight for one of the dismal swamps of theology.
Our vision of God effects how we pray, our faith, our love, our actions and our fulfilling of His calling on our lives.
GOD THE MAGNIFICENT, AWESOME “I AM.”
Yahweh is the God who promises to be with us, to continually unfold Himself to us in new and deeper ways of understanding, and to protect and deliver us from every form of oppression. Yahweh is the God who communicates with us and reveals to us His awesome Word and Will. Yahweh means the Eternal One, the Immutable One, He who WAS and IS and IS TO COME.
Yahweh is a form of the verb “to be” meaning He is: He is alive, active, and present. Yahweh also means, “He who will be, the Coming One,” who will fulfill his original covenant promise in Genesis 3:15 of the crushing the head of the serpent (devil) and bringing to full completion the salvation of His people. Yahweh’s name is the pledge, the commitment and the unbreakable bond of this covenant promise to His people. He is also the Coming One who is always ready to intercede and intervene in any obstacle or problem of His children. Yahweh is the God of action for His people, getting intimately involved in every phase of their lives. Yahweh is the great deliverer, the wonderful redeemer, and the firm rescuer who transforms our life with the touch of His mighty hand. The name Yahweh denotes a very special and unique relationship with his treasured children. Yahweh is the God who supplies all the needs of His people. Yahweh is able to be whatever His people need. As Yahweh, the Immutable One, He is unchangeable in His promises and His heart of love for His people. He is steadfast, faithful, and sure even in the most desperate hour.
Ravenhill: God answers Moses by saying “Tell them “I AM’ has sent you.” The word translated as “I AM” means: “I Am becoming ____________,” according to Rotheram’s Emphasized translation. God is telling Moses that whatever he needs, God will become. “I am your wisdom. I am your peace. I am your provision. I am your strength. I am your righteousness. I am _____________” Just fill in the blank.
Is our heart filled with trembling awe at the majesty of our God?
Holy trembling in Word is beholding majesty of God and being struck with awe. There is a shaking of the soul. Woe is me first response to seeing the holy God. Is that awe in our soul when we see a glimpse of the all-powerful, glorious, spectacular and mighty God .
The LORD reigns; let the people tremble: he sits between the cherubims; let the earth be moved . . . Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob . . . For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the
LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and Trembles at my word . . . Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at His word;

Eric Ludy: When this majestic and awesome God lives in the heart we are:
Unshakable, Immovable, Undisturbable, Unfrettable, Fearless, Impervious to Anxiety, Untouchable, Impenetrable, Immune to Foreboding. Resistant to Anxiety, Indifferent to Evil Tidings. Unruffled by Criticism, Heedless to False Accusation, Oblivious to Public Opinion Polls
Hannah Smith-Under the leadership of the Captain who had never been foiled in battle, how could we dream of defeat? And yet to many of us, how different has been our real experience,.. As our early vision of triumph grow more and more dim and we have been forced to settle down to the conviction that the best you can expect from your religion is a life of alternate failure and victor; one hour sinning and the next repenting…But is this all? Had the Lord Jesus this in mind when He laid down His precious life to deliver you from your sore and cruel bondage to sin? Did he propose to Himself only partial deliverance? Did he fear that a continuous victory would dishonor Him, and bring reproach to His name? Did he intend to leave you thus struggling along under a weary consciousness of defeat and discouragement? Did he fear that a continuous victory would dishonor Him, and bring reproach to His name?… Did being more than conquerors through him that loved us” [Romans 8:37] mean constant defeat and failure? No, No, a thousand times no! God is able to save to the uttermost and He intends to do it.
Eric Ludy: The Unstoppable Gospel:
When Soul Dreams Come True
• Entering the Unshakable, Immovable Rock
• Having the Unshakable, Immovable Rock Enter You
The Triumphant Jesus is . . .
The Rock (Matthew 16:18), My Strong Rock (Psalm 31:2), The Rock of
Ages (Isaiah 26:4), The Rock that is higher than I (Psalm 61:2), My Rock and my Fortress (Psalm 31:3), The Rock of my Strength (Psalm 62:7), The Rock of my Refuge (Psalm 94:22), A Rock of Habitation (Psalm 71:3),The Rock of my Heart (Psalm 73:26), The Rock of my Salvation (2 Samuel 22:47), My Rock and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:14), That Spiritual Rock (1 Corinthians 10:4), A Shadow from the Heat (Isaiah 25:4), A Stone (Isaiah 28:16), A Living Stone (1 Peter 2:4), A Tried Stone (Isaiah 28:16), A Chief Corner-stone (1 Peter 2:6), A Precious Stone (1 Peter 2:6)
This very God who by nature, action and character is unstoppable lives within us. When we abide in Him we become what He is.
Hebrew word Mowt – [Mōte]
to be moved, shaken, overthrown, dislodged. No Mowt!Never to be moved, never to be shaken, never to be overthrown, and never to be dislodged. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved (mowt).Psalm 16:8
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved (mowt).Psalm 55:22 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved mowt). In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:5-8:
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about
his people from henceforth even forever. Psalm 125:2
In Titus 2:14, when God calls those redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ a “peculiar people.” We think of something peculiar as something odd or strange but that is not its usage and meaning from the Greek. Wuest, in his Word Studies in the Greek New Testament, enlightens us about the true meaning of this word “peculiar”:
The word is translated from a Greek word which is made
up of two words, one which means “around,” as a circle,
and the other which means “to be.” It can be charted by
a dot within a circle. This will help us understand the
meaning of the combined word. As the circle is around the
dot, so God is around each one of His saints. The circle
monopolizes the dot, has the dot all to itself. So God has His
own all to Himself. They are His own private, unique
possession. He has reserved them for Himself.
Picture yourself as this dot completely surrounded by the circle of the unstoppable God. We are forever surrounded by God as His people and as the shield of God completely surrounds us we go forth with the power fo God in faith and love and become the most unstoppable force on the face of the earth. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you are completely encircled by your Heavenly Father.
CAN THE MOST RUTHLESS, POWERFUL AND WICKED EMPIRE THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN STOP GOD?
LOOK WHAT THE UNSTOPPABLE GOD DOES IN A SINGLE DAY
In the days of King Hezekiah of Judah, the Assyrian forces invaded Judah and seemed ominously close to defeating Jerusalem (even as they had boasted they would do in Isaiah 10:10, 11). Assyria was absolutely ruthless to its enemies and was the super power of the world that was conquering country after country and had even destroyed Jerusalem. They arrogantly brandished their military might brandished as the bully and destroyer of all in their path. The King’s chief commander blasphemed and mocked God and foolishly claimed they were greater than God. He boldly said: “Do not listen to Hezekiah, for he is misleading you when he says, ‘The LORD will deliver us.’ 33 Has the god of any nation ever delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria? 34 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena and Ivvah? Have they rescued Samaria from my hand? 35 Who of all the gods of these countries has been able to save his land from me? How then can the LORD deliver Jerusalem from my hand?” Pretty arrogant and stupid to take on the unstoppable God as later Isaiah records the awesome movement of God in such a way that it astonishes the soul:…
Therefore, thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He shall not come to this city, or shoot an arrow there; neither shall he come before it with a shield, nor throw up a mound against it. 34 ‘By the way that he came, by the same he shall return, and he shall not come to this city,’ declares the LORD. 35 ‘For I will defend this city to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’” 36 Then the Angel of the LORD (compare to the Light of Israel, the Holy One”) went out, and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, all of these were dead (fulfillment of Isaiah’s prediction of destruction of the Assyrian forces in a single day). 37 So Sennacherib, king of Assyria, departed and returned home, and lived at Nineveh. (Isaiah 37:33-37)
The parallel account of the Holy One’s protection of Jerusalem and Judah is recorded in Second Kings…
Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, “He shall not come to this city or shoot an arrow there; neither shall he come before it with a shield, nor throw up a mound against it. 33 “By the way that he came, by the same he shall return, and he shall not come to this city,”‘ declares the LORD. 34 ‘For I will defend this city to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’” 35 Then it happened that night that the Angel of the LORD went out, and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when men rose early in the morning, behold, all of them were dead (The Angel “destroyed every mighty warrior, commander and officer in the camp of the king of Assyria.” 2Chr 32:21). 36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and returned home, and lived at Nineveh. 37 And it came about as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer killed him with the sword (“some of his own children killed him” 2Chr 32:21); and they escaped into the land of Ararat. And Esarhaddon his son became king in his place. (2Kings 19:32-37)
CAN THE RELIGIOUS ESTABLISHMENT STOP GOD?
Acts 5:13-21 12 Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico. 13 None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. 14 And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them. 16 The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
17 But the high priest rose up, and all who were with him (that is, the party of the Sadducees), and filled with jealousy 18 they arrested the apostles and put them in the public prison. 19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20 “Go and stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this Life.” 21 And when they heard this, they entered the temple at daybreak and began to teach.
CAN A MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISON AND A DEATH SENTENCE STOP GOD?
Acts 12:4-11 (ESV): And when he had seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him over to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring him out to the people. 5 So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.6 Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison. 7 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands. 8 And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.” 9 And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10 When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them of its own accord, and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel left him. 11 When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”
CAN A BLAZING FIERY FURNACE AND THE KING’S WRATH STOP GOD?
Daniel 3:16-27 (NLT): Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual 20 and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace. 21 So these men, wearing their robes, trousers, turbans and other clothes, were bound and thrown into the blazing furnace. 22 The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, 23 and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?” They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.” 25 He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”
26 Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, 27 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.
CAN A FULLY ARMED TEN FOOT GIANT CHAMPION OF WICKEDNESS STOP GOD?
I Samuel 17:33-51 (NLV): Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.”34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, 35 I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. 36 Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. 37 The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine. ”Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.” 40 Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine. 41 Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. 42 He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. 43 He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 “Come here,” he said, “and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!”45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”48 As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. 49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell face down on the ground.50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.
CAN FIERCE, HUNGRY LIONS STOP GOD?
Daniel 6:16-22 (NLT): So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!” 17 A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel’s situation might not be changed. 18 Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night without eating and without any entertainment being brought to him. And he could not sleep.
19 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. 20 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! 22 My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”
EVEN OUR SPIRTUAL ENEMY, THE DEVIL, WHO WALKS AROUND LIKE A ROARING LION SEEING WHO HE MAY DEVOUR CANNOT STOP GOD!!
CAN A MIGHTY MILITARY FORCE OF A KING’S ELITE SOLDIERS STOP GOD?
2 Kings 6:15-17 (NLT): When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
When we take God at His Word and have this type of unshakable faith?
There is no power, no force, no purpose, no being that is able to stand up to the wisdom, the power or the glory of our God. All things revolve around him (Rm. 11:36).
“To believe actively that our Heavenly Father constantly spreads around us providential
circumstances that work for our present good and our everlasting well‐being brings to the
soul a veritable benediction. Most of us go through life praying a little, planning a little,
jockeying position, hoping but never being quite certain of anything, and always secretly
afraid that we will miss the way. This is tragic waste of truth and never gives rest to the
heart. There is a better way. It is to repudiate our own wisdom and take instead the
infinite wisdom of God.”The Knowledge of the Holy (p. 63) by A.W. Tozer

Our faith is what brings the unstoppable God into action in our lives. Hebrews 11:33
Since God is for them, who can be against them? (Romans 8:31)
Ever since the publication of H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine in 1895, people have been captivated by the idea of traveling in time. In that book, a scientist builds a time machine, travels far into the future, then returns and tells his astonished friends what the world will be like in 800,000 years! What most people fail to realize is that we don’t need a machine to travel through time. The truth is, we are all time travelers. We are all traveling toward the future at a rate of one second per second, and there’s nothing we can do to stop ourselves from time traveling. And at the end of our journey through time is a destination we can scarcely imagine–a destination called Eternity. Everything in Scripture points to Eternity, and everything within us cries out for it. As Solomon observed in the Old Testament, God “has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). God designed us to live in Eternity. We are on the unstoppable toward Eternity. We must set our minds and hearts on things above and not on the things of this earth. God has prepared something incomprehensibly beautiful for those who love Him and trust Him–something that lies beyond time, something so beautiful and vast and breathtaking that only Eternity is big enough to contain it.
Father, everything you are and everything you possess we need. But we couldn’t get it because of the barrier between us and you. But you have made a way in and through Jesus Christ for us to access the fullness of the Father. Everything you desire to give us is given through your Son Jesus I pray today we will grab ahold of it like we have never grabbed ahold of it before. I pray that you would tutor our souls and if there is any stoniness in our hearts and our minds toward truth pray that it would be removed that we may be able to hear, know and feel the things of heaven and the things of your kingdom. Precious God may you be glorified in our midst.
For the unstoppable God to live through us we need steadfast faith and pure hearts not sold out or enslaved to sin or the dictates of the flesh but grounded in the Spirit. Faith and purity manifesting itself in love is the key to unleash the power of the unstoppable God in our lives.
Hebrews 11:33-38 (Phillips): And what other examples shall I give? There is simply not time to continue by telling the stories of Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jeptha; of David, Samuel and the prophets. Through their faith these men conquered kingdoms, ruled in justice and proved the truth of God’s promises. They shut the mouths of lions, they quenched the furious blaze of fire, they escaped from death itself. From being weaklings they became strong men and mighty warriors; they routed whole armies of foreigners. Some returned to their womenfolk from certain death, while others were tortured and refused to be ransomed, because they wanted to deserve a more honourable resurrection in the world to come. Others were exposed to the test of public mockery and flogging, and to the torture of being left bound in prison. They were killed by stoning, by being sawn in two; they were tempted by specious promises of release and then were killed with the sword. Many became refugees with nothing but sheepskins or goatskins to cover them. They lost everything and yet were spurned and ill-treated by a world that was too evil to see their worth. They lived as vagrants in the desert, on the mountains, or in caves or holes in the ground. All these won a glowing testimony to their faith, but they did not then and there receive the fulfilment of the promise. God had something better planned for our day, and it was not his plan that they should reach perfection without us.
When the unstoppable God lives and reigns on the throne of our heart, then we become unstoppable. Our purposes, goals, actions and His destiny become unstoppable because they are His purposes, His goals, His plans, His actions and His destiny. The unstoppable God lives within you. Can you ever live the same, be the same or think the same? When the church of God and the body of Christ is what God intended it to be, it is a flat out unstoppable force for God. The gates of hell are shaken and can never prevail against it.
Are you facing an impossible situation? Is there an insurmountable Red Sea in front of you with seemingly no way out? Are you backed into a corner with the enemy closing in with relentless speed? Listen to the words of Moses and take them to heart. God can part your Red Sea so the whole world knows that He is the Lord God and there is none other:
THE GREAT ESCAPE AND THE GREAT VICTORY
Exodus 14:13-18 (NLT): But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. 14 The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”15 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! 16 Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground. 17 And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they will charge in after the Israelites. My great glory will be displayed through Pharaoh and his troops, his chariots, and his charioteers. 18 When my glory is displayed through them, all Egypt will see my glory and know that I am the LORD!”
You will never cease to be the most amazed person on earth at what God has done for you on the inside.” Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest: Traditional Updated Edition
